Grand Performances 2017 Season

Pretty stoked for the eclectic slate of shows ranging from indigenous hip hop to gender fluid artists to a Parliament tribute (George Clinton is expected to participate). I won’t use the cliche and say “something for everyone,” because it’s not. Some people order the same dish at the same restaurant while others venture to different places and order something unusual.   Center for the Arts Eagle Rock is delighted to welcome children ages 6-12 to our summer arts camp to discover their creativity and explore visual art, performance, sculpture, writing and more. Along The Boarder/ A lo Largo del la Frontera

Printmaker Malaquias Montoya will exhibit his politically oriented prints at the Avenue 50 Studio during the month of September.  Malaquias grew up in the  San Joaquin Valley raised by a single mother in a family of migrant farm workers (which includes brother, José Montoya). His work includes acrylic paintings, murals, washes, and drawings, but he is primarily known for his silkscreen prints, which have been exhibited internationally as well as nationally.
