June 9 – VCC Music Competition Winners
The winners of the Valley Cultural Center’s 2008 Music Competition, some of the most highly talented young musicians of the San Fernando Valley, will perform at the Madrid Theatre.

June 16 – Jim Walkow
Jim Walkow is an author, composer, father, performer, and storyteller who will convey the tale of The Zabbit. It is the story of Abbott, an extraordinary and most unusual looking rabbit, who learns many important values from his parents, including, "Keep the love in your heart and always be kind. Create your own luck by using your mind."

June 23 - Andy Rawn
Andy Rawnhas performed across the United States singing the Mephistopheles of Gounod’s Faust in solo concerts with an instrumental trio honoring American Songwriters. He has a beautiful dramatic voice in the tradition of Ezio Pinza, the most famous romantic basso of the 20th Century.

June 30 - The Preservation Hall Jazz Band
This band has traveled worldwide spreading their mission to nurture and perpetuate the art form of New Orleans Jazz. Whether performing at Carnegie Hall or Lincoln Center, for British Royalty or the King of Thailand, this music embodies a joyful, timeless spirit.

July 7 - L.A. Pierce Symphonic Winds
The Los Angeles Pierce Symphonic Winds are among the growing number of nationally recognized and critically acclaimed community bands in the United States. They have become a leading force in southern California's cultural community and have delighted audiences throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe.

July 14 - Dance Dimension Dancers
These professional and non-professional dancers are empowered to set and achieve both dance and life goals through community service and activism, volunteer work, and mentoring programs. They present an array of dance styles, such as African, Flamenco, Jazz, Hoofing and Djembe Drumming.

July 21 - Ticket To Ride (a tribute to The Beatles)
Please join us for an amazing morning of Beatlemania! Ticket to Ride performs an incredible rendition of those well-known and beloved Beatle songs complete with those familiar costumes, amplifiers, and microphones from the era.
July 28 - Kids of Rock Theatre
ROCK THEATRE unites the forces of Rock ‘n’ Roll and Musical Theater for a powerful performance experience that brings new meaning to the phrase “Vocal/ Dance Group” and new entertainment possibilities for any event. Now in its 27th year, ROCK THEATRE has electrified audiences with performances ranging from national television, feature films, soundtracks, stage, and live concerts.

August 4 - Malo
Get ready to enjoy some of the best Latin music you’ll ever hear when they play their hit songs, "Suavecito," "Nena," and "Café," that laid the groundwork for their career of three decades and counting. This band has been on the forefront of the Latin/Pop/R&B music scene for decades delighting audiences all over the country.

August 11 - Scott Detweiler
Scott, an American composer and lyricist born and raised in New Orleans, has been compared to B.B. King, Earl King, and Dickie Betts. His vocal soulfulness is often compared to the range of emotion known in the vocal styles of Bobby "Blue" Bland, Aaron Neville and Elton John.

August 18 - Razzle Bam Boom
One of the Monday Morning Concert favorites, Razzle Bam Boom is the music and comedy duo of Mark Beckwith and Obediah Thomas. Their unique combination of music, audience participation, and comedy is enjoyed by audiences of all ages.
