DCA is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified business/nonprofit entity, with proven experience in venue management, festival production, and performing arts producing and curation with emphasis on: performing arts programming, film, booking/contracting/presenting; arts/venue management; community engagement/youth development; and facilities maintenance and stewardship to partner manage and operate the Vision Theatre Performing Arts Center in the vibrant and historic Leimert Park Village neighborhood in South Los Angeles, Council District 10. Proposers must have proven experience in performing arts programming, strong financial management, events marketing, ticketing, artist services, audience services, security, scheduling, parking, technical direction, and customer service. Proposers must also have proven experience in: youth and cultural development; the creation of a wide range of public programs, community performance opportunities, job training and creation; and creative entrepreneurship with an emphasis on the performing arts (dance, music, theater), film and production.
