This year we will screen the Asian featured movie, “The Farewell.” This uplifting film is written and directed by Lulu Wang and tells the story of a Chinese family discovering their grandmother has only a short time left to live and they collectively decide to keep her in the dark, scheduling a wedding before she dies.
