A Movement in Every Direction: Legacies of the Great Migration:
Bailamos in Canoga Park will showcase the participants of the dance workshop with performances from professional dancers as well. Canoga Park Youth Arts will be displaying dance inspired art work. A Canoga Park Library representative will also be in attendance with a booth to get the community members interested in their programs as well. Community Arts is held outside in Hermon Park most Saturdays. Join us in exploring the arts, from puppets to painting. Experience the interior of Hollyhock House at your own pace with a self-guided tour. Docents are on hand to provide information and answer questions. Glenn Kaino: Aki’s Market is inspired by Akira and Sachiye Shiraishi’s small neighborhood market (1957–1970) in East Los Angeles.
