Adia Millett cycles her imagery through a variety of media, including collage, assemblage, photography, textiles, and painting, creating multilayered representations of deconstructed structures and imaginary interiors that stand in for the human experience and provide a dwelling place for a black aesthetic.

The parade day starts off at 8:00 a.m. with the Shoreline Front Runners Pride Run on Junipero Avenue at Ocean Boulevard. The run will be along the beach path. This musical festival features four stages and over 100 instrumental and singing contestants from western style to jamming musicians playing on outdoor Western movie sets. The event also includes folk arts booths, National Parks booths, good eats, and children’s activities. Since 1961, this event has been Southern California’s premier old-time and bluegrass music festival!
