JOAN is pleased to present a solo exhibition of new and recent work by Los Angeles-based interdisciplinary artist Aimee Goguen. Building on observations and drawings made over the past several months of living and non-living components of the built environment, Mountain of the Collapse will explore decay and decomposition in the city’s social and political architecture.

The exhibition will be on view from October 8 through December 17, 2022. Public programs include a screening and a reading event, to be announced. We’ll also be producing a publication with newly commissioned texts on Goguen’s work.
