These holdings include a comprehensive collection of pre-Columbian ceramics. The Fowler also possesses a cohesive collection of Guatemalan costumes; an extensive collection of Mexican clothing; textiles of Peru; and a comprehensive representation of field-collected market materials from Michoacán, Mexico.
