This event will feature a panel discussion with divers who seek to preserve the heritage of Black people through discovering and investigating wreckages of slave ships and salvaging artifacts. Resources will include digitized Black newspapers, photography collections focused on African American communities, oral histories from Black History Makers, resources for researching African American family histories through genealogy, and more!
