Food is a medium in which communities from all walks of life and cultures ca relate-specifically, through bread. For this project titled “Art of Atta- Expressions Through Bread and The of Flour”, our goal is to provide the students with an insight into South Asian culture in a way that is relatable, understandable, and quite literally easy to digest.
The gardens, store, 1919 Cafe, Jade Court Cafe, Red Car coffee shop and select galleries are now open. Advance online timed entry reservations are now required ONLY on weekends, Monday holidays, and Free Days for both visitors and Members.

Dress Codes is about what we wear, how we wear it, and why. The exhibition is organized around six enduring icons of western style: blue jeans, plaid shirts, fringed jackets, aloha shirts, China Poblana dress, and the cowboy boot. Luis Flores’s largely autobiographical work functions as an account of emotions and experiences accumulated as a young man within a toxic masculine culture. Transformational events, such as getting married and becoming a father, motivated him to view the world differently. In this exhibition, Flores uses crocheted and bronzed sculptures to create a Monster Rally setup as a metaphor for parental love.
