An online video performance featuring the work of 21 Black & Latinx choreographers, created in response to living through the Covid pandemic.

Bootleg Theater presents Dancing on the Edge, a curated video collage of dance pieces created by BlakTinx choreographers living in isolation during the Covid Pandemic. We are presenting three 20 minute segments featuring the work of 20 BKTX alumni via YouTube. These video performances are soulful, imaginative, and personal expressions of life as a dancer/choreographer living through this pandemic. Come witness these exciting and powerful pieces as they share their personal spaces and feelings!

This year’s choreographers from LA are: Nancy Rivera Gomez, Shantel Ureña, Anthony Aceves, Bernard Brown, Joshua Estrada-Romero, Keilah Lomotey, Michelle Funderburk, Primera Generación, Vannia Ibargüen, Marina Magalhães, Regina Ferguson, Rubi Morales, Amber Morales, Alan Perez, Dorcas Román, Yarrow Perea, Andrea Ordaz, Eluza Santos, Briseyda Zárate, Sarah Yarrington, and Kassy Francis.
