Californians for the Arts, Dance Resource Center and Austin Creative Alliance are partnering to present an informational webinar covering the California Performing Arts Paymaster (CalPayArt) program. Californians for the Arts, through the California Arts Council, has secured a state grant to build a nonprofit paymaster service for small theaters, symphonies, ballets, operas, chorales, dance companies, music organizations and other performing arts organizations throughout the state of California.
CalPayArt is a mission driven nonprofit paymaster service program specifically designed to support payroll compliance and lower insurance and unemployment coverage costs for small nonprofit performing arts organizations in California.

See an installation of prints made by members of Gee’s Bend Quiltmakers’ Collective. The pieces were created by pressing original quilted fabric designs face down on a wax-coated printing plate that captured the fabrics’ texture, seams, and stitching of the original. Through this innovative process, a quilt is translated to a printed surface—a new medium to explore and share the quiltmakers’ creativity. “Gee’s Bend: Shared Legacy” is presented in two six-month installments, each featuring a selection of 12 prints.
