A 4 week Saturday art workshop giving youth in the community an opportunity to connect with each other through personal and group art projects. The workshops will be a cumulative experience that builds each week on topics relating to “self” and “community.” The goal of the workshops are to show each participant how they are unique, special and important to their community. Group projects will focus on “designing and building an ideal community.” The workshops are for all abilities and will have experienced staff available for special needs participants. An art show exhibiting all the art work from the workshops will be open to the public on May 11, 2019 at the Legacy Center in Woodland Hills.
