As an extension of Michael Rippens’ sculptural work in the exhibition Hair-pulling Between Good and Evil, he has organized a dance and story-sharing workshop with Lisa de Guzman from Malaya Filipino American Dance Arts.

At the workshop, you’ll learn about the Tinikling—the traditional Filipino folk dance that inspired his work in the show—and get to try it yourself! Participants will also receive an original piece of art to take home, and are invited to a special viewing of the exhibition following the event.

Space is limited, RSVP via email michael@rippens.com to attend.
** Proof of vaccination or negative covid-19 test will be required for this event.**

Gallery Hours: Thursday – Saturday, between 10am and 4:00pm
