While most of the world has banned capital punishment, the United States, Japan, and South Korea are the only established democracies in the world to continue executions. The posters in this exhibition show how racism, poverty, and unpopular political beliefs impact sentencing. Studies also show that at least 4% of those sentenced to death in the U.S. are innocent, yet the courts continue to condemn and kill people with poison gas, electrocution, firing squad, or lethal injection. State sanctioned murder is still murder. End the Death Penalty!
