The exhibition is organized around six enduring icons of western style: blue jeans, plaid shirts, fringed jackets, aloha shirts, China Poblana dress, and the cowboy boot. Join us for a fun and subversive look at what our clothes have to say about Western identities.

Around 900 years ago, a Maya scribe made the Códice Maya de México, a sacred book that tracked and predicted movements of the planet Venus.
