Inspirarte Latinos is a space to narrate inspirational stories, that highlight the spirit of Latin talent. The photographer Gary Ferrer learned to see with the eyes of the heart, after meningitis took his sight, today he dedicates his time to his folkloric group where his students fill him with pride for their culture and love for the effort that he puts into life.

Located at LA Plaza’s Historic Paseo Walkway, Transportapueblos: Los Resilientes is a public art sculpture in recognition of the many difficulties faced by people who journey from their homes hoping to find a better life in the United States. The artwork was created by Mexican artist Alfredo “LIBRE” Gutierrez.
Unpacking the Universe: The Making of an Exhibition is a documentary series that follows the six-year journey of LACMA’s curators’ researching, developing, and installing The Portable Universe. The series allows us to be transparent about how the team facilitated a collaborative process with the Arhuaco community in Colombia and curators at different institutions and kept this spirit of collaboration alive in the way the exhibition was installed.
