Calli or Kalli (home in Nahuatl) is the focal point of this exhibition. Paying homage to the cultural ecosystem that is Boyle Heights, the exhibition will be grounded by a symbolic installation of the artists’ homes. This central sculpture will connect to various images of elements, people, and iconographies that are core to their creative practice and family unit.
