As a part of its mission, NHM celebrates and illuminates L.A.’s diverse rich natural and cultural history. Here are four Latino bakeries that are featured and add to the diversity of Los Angeles: La Monarca Bakery, La Princesita Tortilleria, Cafe Porto’s Bakery, and Guatemalteca.

A Christmas Carol with Charles Dickens
Our holiday tradition is returning to the Independent Shakespeare Company for its 19th year! Join us as we recreate (with a little artistic license) the experience of a public reading of A Christmas Carol, given by Charles Dickens himself.
