This t exhibition allows the community to participate by presenting family heirlooms focusing on utensils, recipes, and dishes related to Mexican and Mexican American cuisine.

Recetario para la Memoria is a photographic and literary project compiling the favorite dishes and recipes of the missing people in Mexico, whose families keep their memories alive by generously sharing their stories with me. This project emerged to accomplish several objectives: to produce a cookbook collection of homestyle recipes, to give presence to those who were forcefully disappeared, and to provide funds for families searching for truth and justice.

Accused of cultural appropriation, he must prove his cultural authenticity to a diverse Los Angeles community while navigating gentrification.
