The origins of the flour tortilla came with the arrival of wheat by the Spanish. Wheat grew easily and plentiful in northern Mexico and eventually became the tortilla of choice for the region. In this class, participants will learn how to make flour tortillas; once you make them from scratch, you’ll never buy store-bought tortillas again!

Special Guest: Chef and Historian, Maite Gomez-Rejón.
