We provide a platform to celebrate poetry while using it as the foundation for creativity, innovation, and expression across an array of media outlets. We invite artists and audiences alike to share their stories, to take up space, and get free.
The Downtown Santa Monica Farmers market is widely recognized as one of the largest and most diverse Certified Farmers’ Markets in the nation. Local residents, out-of-town visitors, celebrities, and many of Los Angeles’ best-known chefs and restaurants, can be found shopping in this location which features over 60 California farms.
Stop by Santa Monica City Hall to view exhibits featuring poetry aligning with the theme of Black Resistance. In addition, all Santa Monica Library locations will feature Black History Month book displays.
