Museums of the Arroyo Experience art, architecture, family fun, music, entertainment and historical discoveries in the celebrated Arroyo Seco. The Autry’s after-hour series returns celebrating all things L.A. Connect with Angelenos while experiencing the work of local poets, DJs, and artists. Enjoy a taco bar, cocktails, wine, and beer. The annual Pasadena Chalk Festival is one the largest public art event of its kind. The art of street painting is centuries old. In fact, it dates back to the 16th century when soldiers returning from battle gave homage to the Madonna in front of local churches. There will be food booths, raffle prizes, and a Police Helicopter ride Auction. 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Leimert Park Village has a long history of being the center of African American arts and culture. The village is inviting the public on the last Sunday of each month to share a day of art exhibitions, music, fashion, food, drumming, spoken word, and local shopping. Throughout the day, cultural spaces, artist studios, and storefronts will also have offerings ranging from free computer seminars and specialty vendors to film screenings, youth theater performances, and live bands.
El Segundo Art Walk (ESAW) is an independently organized, self-guided art walk. Creative businesses throughout Downtown El Segundo and Smoky Hollow transform their spaces to allow Los Angeles-based artists to showcase their work. DTLA Proud Festival returns to Pershing Square – celebrating the culture, history, and diversity of the growing LGBTQ+ community that lives, works, and plays in the thriving heart of the city of Los Angeles.
