The 29th Annual Canoga Park Memorial Day Parade is a wonderful tradition that allows our community comes together to honor our fallen and the families of those gave that gave their lives to insure our freedom. Our theme every year is “Saluting the Price of Freedom”. It will include marching bands, equestrians, floats and many military displays.
Join the City of Inglewood in honoring and recognizing past and present war heroes while remembering men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice of giving their lives while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
This is one of the largest Obon festivals in Southern California. The event includes taiko drum performances, Japanese folk dancing, ethnic foods, Japanese cultural displays, and games.
A holiday celebration in the San Fernando Valley featuring music and other live entertainment, food, and fireworks. Booths offer information about safety, health, community resources, and more. Come take a swim in the 1.5-acre swim lake available for use during the day. Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic.
To celebrate our Nation’s 243rd birthday, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library is hosting a day full of family- fun activities. This year’s celebration includes patriotic concerts by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Band, family entertainment, games, crafts, and more. The 4th of July kicks off with a free concert and festival in Exposition Park and concludes with a forty-five-minute fireworks show that evening. Bring the entire family to the largest Fourth of July fireworks and music festival in the city. Live music starts at noon. Fireworks start at 9:00 p.m.
