This is one of the largest Obon festivals in Southern California. The event includes taiko drum performances, Japanese folk dancing, ethnic foods, Japanese cultural displays, and games.
This showcase event organized by Homenetmen Western USA are the Navasartian Games. The games boasts the participation of 300 teams, 3,200 athletes, 1,100 scouts and attracts over 35,000 spectators over a period of eight weeks each year. To celebrate our Nation’s 243rd birthday, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library is hosting a day full of family- fun activities. This year’s celebration includes patriotic concerts by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Band, family entertainment, games, crafts, and more. The 4th of July kicks off with a free concert and festival in Exposition Park and concludes with a forty-five-minute fireworks show that evening. Bring the entire family to the largest Fourth of July fireworks and music festival in the city. Live music starts at noon. Fireworks start at 9:00 p.m.

The Annual Fourth of July fireworks have returned to the West Valley! With the largest attendance of any 4th of July celebration in the San Fernando Valley, this extravaganza provides an audience of 40,000 people with a free concert and fireworks show.
