Youth Operas – Figaro’s American Adventure
A kid-friendly opera based on The Barber of Seville, Figaro’s American Adventure transports Figaro and his band of sneaky barbers to colonial America. Journey back in time to colonial America where Figaro, along with his band of sneaky barbers and colonial compatriots, leads us on a musical goose chase. Ultimately, he outsmarts his adversary, and love triumphs as he helps his friend the Count win the hand of his beloved Rosina.
Tuesday Night Project: This Is Not Just The Asian Night
Join Tuesday Night Project (TNP) for a showcase of Asian American creative expression and discussion about their multigenerational, intersectional approach to art and community. The festival includes a look back at the history of TNP’s flagship program, Tuesday Night Cafe.

Textile Arts: Mindful Mending – An Artist’s Approach
In this course, Connie Rohman will share the useful and beautiful technique of Boro stitching which originated in Medieval Japan. Boro stitching uses a simple running stitch called the Shashiko stitch to bring new utility to fabric scraps and as the basis for beautiful textile art. With this simple and lovely technique, we will mindfully mend, darn, and repurpose clothing and work on original textile projects.
