We are happy to share the latest exhibition from the esteemed printmakers of Los Angeles Printmaking Society and invite you to experience a rich array of artworks for the debut of Between Us and the Trees: Conversations in the Secret Language of Nature.

In “The Hidden Life of Trees: What They Feel, What They Communicate – Discoveries from a Secret World,” forest scientist Peter Wohlleben writes about the secret language of the trees, the forest ecosystems and the fungal communication of the ancient forests. Through the exploration of communication systems between the trees the botanical world and us, members of Los Angeles Printmaking Society & special guests investigate the themes of plant intelligence, hidden communication and the transcendent connections between us and the natural world.

SUIHO EN – JAPANESE GARDEN

Amid the San Fernando Valley lies an oasis – a 6.5-acre garden featuring three gardens in one. First, the Japanese Garden has a dry Zen meditation garden containing Tortoise Island, a three-buddha arrangement of stones, and a wisteria arbor at the end of the Plover Path. Next along the path is an expansive Chisen or “wet-strolling” garden with waterfalls, lakes and streams, abundant greenery, and stone lanterns, which were hand-carved by artisans in Japan.
