Memorial Day is a day we honor America’s men and women who served their county and gave the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy each day. Each Memorial Day at 10:00 a.m., the City of Monterey Park and American Legion Post 397 hosts a ceremony at the American Legion (318 S. Ramona Ave). This world-premiere musical gives voices to Filipino immigrants navigating old lives and new beginnings, eight-thousand miles from home.
